Project One Day
Project One Day is an innovative yet simple solution to the rising costs of child care which Houston’s single parents face on a daily basis as they struggle to provide for their families.
Project One Day is a Christ-centered child care cooperative for single parents of children ages 6 weeks through 3 years old which works on a simple premise. Parents volunteer one day a week and receive 40 hours of FREE, faith-based child care to facilitate their work or education. For low-income families this can be a game changer.
Training for this program is 100% free and can be completed in 30 classroom hours on-site. While participation requirements are significant, the benefits are plentiful– a community of friends plus parent education to make life at home run smoother, too.
For children, Project One Day provides top-notch ratios creating a loving, supportive, and faith-based environment to grow, learn, and be cared for.
How it Works: Parents Assistant Teach 1 Day, Get 4 Free
